This is a fourteen page direct mail marketing travel brochure produced for Zegrahm Expeditions.
My role was to conceptualize, design, produce, pre-press, proof and press-check the finished piece. Following that, I was responsible for producing the PDF version, for archiving the files and logging applicable photography into an image bank, and for deconstructing the brochure into various assets suitable for web publication.
I worked closely with program managers, executive directors, and an in-house writer/editor for the printed version. I also worked with a web & multimedia developer for the online version of this piece.
I used photography sourced from an in-house image bank and a network of travel photographers.
This piece was printed in Seattle by ColorGraphics using FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) approved paper.
This cover is a favorite of mine.
To develop and complete this project, I used a combination of pencil sketches, research, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Word during three to four rounds of proofing and design modification.
